Now that you have been introduced to the basics, we will learn more advanced techniques.  This will be a 4-hour workshop as well.  We will dig into tools and learn what automation can do for an OSINT researcher. We will set up environments bases on the topics of the search.  You will set up sock puppet accounts for social media searches.  We will dive into different Operating systems specifically for OSINT. Other topics will include Geolocation, Meta-data retrieval, anti-OSINT techniques, web scraping, and how to set up automated system to help with long term monitoring. We will talk privacy more in-depth. There might even be a surprise in that area. We will investigate the different areas that OSINT can assist with from Pen Testing to Brand monitoring and business intelligence.

Student Requirements:

  • Laptop w/ Wi-Fi
  • USB port (live USB drives will hold information and Operating systems, but information will be available to download as well.)
